What are village council members responsible for?
Council establishes policies and enacts legislation to implement those policies. The policies and legislation of Council are executed through the Village administration under the direction of the Mayor. The exercise of the legislative authority of Council is made through the passage of ordinances or resolutions.

The Village of Roseville Council is accepting letters of interest to fill an unexpired term. The term expires December 31, 2021. Submit your letter of interest to Heidi Milner, Chief Fiscal Officer at fiscal-officer@rosevilleoh.com or drop/mail it to 107 N. Main Street.

Council Meetings Open at Roseville Community Center

The Village of Roseville will be holding open council meetings at the Roseville Community Center on the 3rd Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:30pm until further notice. The Village council meetings will not be recorded or be on facebook or zoom. This begins on Tuesday, June 15th. The address is 13047 Karl Brown Road.

Hydrant Flushing Monday, June 14

The Village of Roseville will be flushing hydrants on Monday, June 14th. Please be aware that water may be discolored at times throughout the day. If this occurs, you may want to refrain from doing laundry until the water runs clear. If your service lines are long please be aware it will take longer for your water to clear up. If you have any questions please contact the water department at 740-697-7310.

E. First Street Road Closure June 9-10, 2021

E. First Street will be closed begining Wednesday, June 9 through Thursday, June 10 to concrete a storm drain. The road will reopen on Friday, June 11th.

If weather doesn't permit the project to begin on Wednesday, June 9th the timeline will be pushed back a day.

Accepting Applications for Office Assistant and Splash Pad Manager(s)

The Village of Roseville is accepting applications for two positions. One person will be hired for the position of part-time Office Assistant. This position's starting hourly rate of pay is $12 per hour. The second position of seasonal part-time Splash Pad manager(s) will have two hired. Depending on qualification and position hired the starting hourly rate ranges from Splash Pad Employee $8.70 per hour to Splash Pad Manager at $9.25 per hour.

Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report For the Year 2020

To view the Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR) for the Year 2020 click on the link below titled "2020 CCR Reports". This year residents will receive TWO CCR reports. One CCR report is from the Village of Roseville's Water Department and the other from Muskingum County Water Department. This is due to the fact that residents were provided water from two different sources through 2020.
